TERMS AND CONDITIONS
TIPISHCA MINIMUM GROUP SIZE
Each tour has a minimum viable group size of 4 guests to operate; the tour is confirmed once the minimum number is obtained.
If you have less than four people in your party, but are interested in a tour which doesn’t yet have the minimum quota of four guests, contact us- we may be able to put you in contact with others to make a group booking between you, or we can discuss the costs of a private tour.
TIPISHCA GROUPS
The maximum group size at Tipishca is determined by the availability of accommodation; eight twin rooms are available. Twin rooms are allocated to couples or to two single–sex guests within a group, unless the parties elect to pay a single person supplement. Guests from different groups are not accommodated in the same bungalows.
EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE GROUPS
Groups of 10-16 people booking the same tour at the same time can request exclusive access at Tipishca, with their own private boat for transport to the lodge, for the standard price per person. Two guides are assigned to these groups to ensure small group size in the forest.
Small groups can guarantee exclusive access at Tipishca for an additional cost- contact us if you require this option.
SMALL PRIVATE GROUPS
Groups of 4-9 people booking the same tour at the same time enjoy their own guide at Tipishca (two guides are assigned to groups of 8 - 9 people to ensure small group size in the forest), but the centre and the boat transport may be shared with other groups.
INDEPENDENT GROUPS
People travelling solo or in groups of less than four people can book Tipishca tours by joining an already confirmed group where exclusive access has not been requested (see SPACES STILL AVAILABLE on the availability table).
The group is therefore composed of several people booking independently. Small independent groups may share transport and the centre with small private groups, but each group will have their own guide and program.
Independent groups have a maximum size of 16 people; two guides are assigned to groups of eight guests or more.

TIPISHCA PRICES
Each tour has a standard price per person, with a maximum capacity of 16 guests. Discounts to the standard price are available at the time of booking for groups of 5-16 guests booking the same tour at the same time, unless exclusive access to the lodge is requested.
Independent travellers- why not make up a group of four or more companions before making your booking, to take advantage of group prices? Make your own group or contact us to be put in contact with others interested in our tours.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellations notified 60 days or more in advance of the scheduled departure date receive a refund of 70% of the total tour price.
Cancellations notified less than 60 days from the departure date, no shows and cancellations received after the departure date receive no refund.
INSURANCE
Travel insurance is essential for any international travel. Las Piedras Amazon Tours insists that all clients arrive with the appropriate international travel insurance. The insurance package must include full medical cover, including repatriation, and must cover our itinerary activities, personal liability and belongings.
